A set of tools are included with SGV to easily visualise the defined
detector geometry. It consist of a custom output mode of the
detector geometry (activated by setting the steering card PLDET to
TRUE), a perl-script plotdef.pl that assigns colour-codes and fill-area
attributes to detector elements - the attributes are defined in the
file plot_attrs.dat (see
appendix B
)
- and a PAW kumac-script showdet.kumac that draws
the detector. These three files are on SGV_PAM, and can be copied
to any location. When the kumac is executed, it will run an SGV-executable,
chosen by the user.
To display the detector:
Make sure unit 17 is linked/assigned to a valid title-file for the
executable You'll run.
Enter PAW.
At the prompt do:
exec showdet.kumac#showdet (name of geo-file) (name of executable) (size of view in cm) opt1 opt2 opt2
